As a resident of Carbondale this post office is run horribly and lazily as there have been several times that due to some reason or other they have refused to deliver a package without leaving a notice slip. To compound that when the issue is brought to their attention they claim that I was the one who blocked the delivery and they did deliver a slip. The service people are also very rude and dismissive. My mailbox was like this I guess it was the post office that broke it and the milk cans are all bent I don't understand how it happened but what I do know is that the person who delivers the mail always stamps the packages very hard and always comes by angry I don't know if it's really bunches I don't know why he throws things now that I can spend more money we don't hurt anyone I don't know why they are like this or if that happened could you call to say what happened Claudia CapitiniTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Staggeringly inept and sketchy post office. Blue BellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joel was very helpful and knowledgeable! He saved us money when we were going to overnight a package, but he told us a cheaper way to do it through USPS. We appreciate the help and the humor! Cameron SurlsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This small town post office manages to operate with overwhelming demand from a growing population, and Amazon sales serving a community with very few accessible or diverse shopping options. Of course I've had some issues, given the circumstances of this situation, and I am personally grateful for the way the post office works to resolve things and maintain a very underappreciated community resource. Ivette2806Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worst customer service ever, especially by a rude guy named “JOEL”, the worst and unpleasant person I have ever met. Predictively unhelpful Christine ChanceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Terrible, understaffed and so very slow. Cameron AllenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I misaddressed a package and it was marked as delivered (entirely my fault), I called all morning trying to get in touch, figured they were understaffed and couldn't answer calls. When they finally answered, they apologized to me for missing the calls and for marking the package as delivered (I should have been the one apologizing). They already knew about my package and had handled the issue prior to me even contacting them. Honestly, that's how you do customer service.
